Story Synopsis:
While sitting in front of a campfire in the snow-covered mountains, Gideon (Brosnan) is surprised to hear gunshots. Realizing that he has been hit, Gideon wonders who could be shooting at him and why. And what he discovers is that Carver (Neeson), an old acquaintance from the war, is on a quest for revenge for something that Gideon did to him years ago in Seraphim Falls. (Tricia Spears)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.38:1 DVD features a well-balanced gray scale, making it easy to see details in the deepest blacks as well as the brightest whites. Black levels are not as deep as the best releases, though, which can make the picture look hazy and flat. Colors, including fleshtones, look natural, but minor edge enhancement can be noticed.
