    Story Synopsis:
    Jimmy Starks (Pearce) is a slick salesman traveling through New Mexico, when his car breaks down in a desolate town. To pass time, Jimmy visits a fortune teller, whose predictions send Jimmy

    The anamorphically enhanced 2.34:1 DVD exhibits a soft picture with relatively poor resolution in most of the presentation. Still, fine details in tighter shots can be delivered nicely. Black levels are more of a milky gray, but shadow delineation is fairly well rendered, giving some sense of depth to the imagery. The color palette is rather limited, generally sticking to undersaturated greens, browns, and golds. Fleshtones can look natural and contrast is nicely balanced, and while edge enhancement and compression artifacts can be noticed, they aren
