Story Synopsis:
Fay Grim (Posey) is a single, Catholic mom who is worried about her 14-year-old son (Aiken). Worried he's going to turn out just like his father, Henry Fool (Ryan), who went missing seven years ago after murdering a neighbor. And Fay's brother (Urbaniak) is of no help, as he is currently incarcerated. Incarcerated for aiding and abetting in Henry's escape. Enter CIA Agent Fullbright (Goldblum), who is convinced that Henry was involved in some sort of international espionage. He asks Fay to assist him...with the promise of freeing her brother. DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD has a soft, slightly smeared look. Fleshtones are accurately rendered and contrast is well balanced. Blacks are fairly deep, and shadow delineation is adequate. Source element artifacts are rare, and edge enhancement is minor.(Danny Richelieu)
