    Story Synopsis:
    Andre (Debbouze) is a down-and-out gambler who decides to end it all by jumping into the Siene, but instead he ends up rescuing a leggy blonde (Rasmussen) named Angel-A. Filled with a renewed passion for life, Andre and his mysterious companion wander the city of light, settling Andre

    DVD Picture:
    The black-and-white, anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD shows fairly good black levels and good shadow delineation, but with fairly soft-looking details, it does not have the level of depth and dimensionality that the best black-and-white presentations provide. Contrast is underdeveloped, with a dim brightness that also limits the naturalness of the picture. Edge enhancement is noticeable throughout. (Danny Richelieu)
