DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.84:1 DVD has a somewhat washed-out appearance with slightly undersaturated colors and a generally pale appearance. Black levels are fairly deep, though, and shadow delineation is good. Fleshtones can have a pinkish hue, but generally they look natural. Details can be delivered nicely at times as well, but there are moments when the imagery looks fairly soft. Edge enhancement is noticeable throughout and can be quite heavy, and compression artifacts can also be seen at times. (Danny Richelieu)
