Story Synopsis:
The Loss Of Sexual Innocence is actually four disjointed stories that follow, among other things, the life of a young film director and and his sexual revelations. The story is supposed to force us to take a look at the power of sex to shape or shatter our lives
DVD Picture:
A stylized picture, specific scenes utilize cross-processed film for a vivid, orange quality that lacks fine detail and definition. Otherwise, colors are naturally balanced with accurate fleshtones, rich hues and deep blacks. The anamorphically enhanced picture is sharp and detailed, though minor edge enhancement is apparent. Contrast and shadow delineation are nicely rendered, but the darker scenes are wanting in more visual information. Artifacts and film grain are apparent throughout the film, but the stylized picture is otherwise generally pleasing. The DVD measures 1.78:1, anamorphic and letterbox.
