DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced DVD, framed in a windowboxed 1.66:1 ratio, exhibits a picture that should be fairly pleasing for its young audience. However, for scrutinizing eyes, the picture appears to be sourced from a dirty element. There are lots of minor artifacts, scratches, and dirt noticed, as well as an overly perceivable amount of grain. Still colors are nicely rendered, with rich hues and deep blacks. Pixelization and shimmering details are noticed for a picture that is otherwise generally unimpressive. (Suzanne Hodges)
