    Story Synopsis:
    Six buddies: A complusive gambler, a college student, a guy who married too young, a brilliant alcoholic loser, a philosopher and a guy who won

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced DVD, viewed in component video, is quite solid and nicely rendered. Images are sharp and detailed with excellent contrast and shadow delineation. Colors are rich and fully saturated, with nicely balanced fleshtones and deep, pure blacks. Some scenes are wanting in clarity, appearing a bit plugged-up, but generally, this is a pleasing transfer of this classic comedy. Minor film grain and artifacts are noticed, but otherwise, the picture is quite solid. The picture measures 1.78:1, anamorphic and letterbox.
