    Story Synopsis:
    The Firm, based on the novel by John Grisham

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD, compared to the LaserDisc reviewed in Issue 7 exhibits superior image quality. Viewed alone, the picture is nicely rendered, but images appear a bit soft at times, wanting in clarity and definition. Still, the picture is quite natural, with a mostly balanced color scheme that can be quite vibrant. Some enhancement is noticed, but nothing too distracting to really complain about. Minor pixelization and artifacts are apparent.
