Story Synopsis:
When would-be psychologist Dr. Mumford (Dean) puts out his shingle in the little town with, oddly enough, the same name, he charms the entire town with his easy-going style and honest approach to their troubles. But Dr. Mumford has a problem all his own, made even worse, after he falls in love with one of his patients.
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits a picture of pleasing quality, exhibiting fully saturated colors, balanced fleshtones and deep blacks. Images are sharp and finely detailed, with nicely rendered background definition. Contrast and shadow delineation are rendered naturally, with an accurate gradation of visual information in the darkness. The imagery is very solid and rich. Minor edge enhancement, artifacts and pixelization are apparent, but overall, the picture is nicely rendered.
