The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a nicely restored picture that is sharp and detailed, with a solid appearance throughout. Colors are nicely balanced with accurate fleshtones, rich hues and deep blacks. Some scenes are very impressive. Film grain and minor artifacts are revealed throughout. Minor edge enhancement is occasional, but the dated picture is quite pleasing for its age.
