DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD looks really good, with balanced colors that are rich and vibrant. Images are sharp and finely detailed, with good contrast and shadow delineation. The picture has a very rich appearance with few distractions in the way of pixelization or artifacts. Occasionally the picture is wanting in definition, with colors appearing a bit oversaturated and darker scenes seeming a bit smeared. Overall, this is a rich, pleasing picture.
