Story Synopsis:
Critically acclaimed for its excellence, Eastwood gives a fine performance as Frank Horrigan, a tough, heroic, yet flawed agent out to stop the assassination of the President
DVD Picture:
Compared to the DVD reviewed in Issue 25, the anamorphically enhanced 2.40:1 DVD appears to be the same transfer. The picture looks quite good, with images that are sharp and finely detailed. Color fidelity is well balanced, with accurate fleshtones, rich hues, and deep, solid blacks. Fleshtones border oversaturation at times, appearing slightly orange at times. Contrast and shadow delineation are nicely rendered throughout, and the picture exhibits good depth and definition. With minimal pixelization and edge enhancement, this is still a title with great image quality. (Suzanne Hodges)
