DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture is quite pleasing in image quality, with rich, fully saturated colors and deep blacks. While fleshtones are somewhat orange, they are balanced throughout. Images are sharp, with nicely rendered detail. Some scenes are nicely rendered, while others are slightly soft. Contrast and shadow delineation are nicely rendered throughout. Minor artifacts are apparent, as well as minor pixelization for a picture that is generally pleasing throughout.
