Story Synopsis:
Crawford MacKenzie (Ferguson) is the best hairstylist in Scotland, so it came as no surprise when he received an invitation to the International Platinum Scissors Style-Off competition in Los Angeles. Nor was it any wonder that BBC documentarian Martin Samuels (Langham) would come along to film Crawford
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits a generally pleasing picture, with images that are sharp and detailed throughout. Minute details into backgrounds are wanting, as the picture has a slightly "pasty" appearance. Colors are nicely balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Contrast and shadow delineation are well rendered, though backlighting can sometimes create a hazy appearance in the foreground. While pixelization is apparent, overall, the picture is quite pleasing.
