    Disc One of this two-disc special edition includes the first part of "Giant," an optional introduction by director George Stevens and audio commentary by film critic Stephen Farber, screenwriter Ivan Moffat, and George Stevens, Jr. The movie and commentary continue on Side B of the first disc, along with eight interviews with filmmakers who knew George Stevens (46 minutes). Disc Two starts with two chaptered documentaries: the 52-minute 1998-produced "Memories Of Giant" and the 55-minute 1996-produced "Return To Giant." In addition, there is a 29-minute black-and-white telecast of the New York premiere, four minutes worth of vintage footage from the Hollywood premiere, a brief promotional newsreel, stills and original production documents, vintage Behind-The-Cameras featurettes (on location in Mafra, TX and visiting with Dimitri Tiomkin), theatrical and re-issue trailers, extensive on-screen production notes (found under the Giant Undertaking menu selection), a George Stevens filmography, an awards list, and the only waste-of-time
