Story Synopsis:
After ruining her sister
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits good image quality, that is sharp with fine detail. Color fidelity is nicely balanced with rich hues, deep blacks and naturally presented fleshtones. Contrast and shadow delineation are superb, with a nice gradation of visual information between darkness and picture black. There are very few distractions in the way of pixelization or edge enhancement.
Soundtrack:
The Dolby(r) Digital 5.1-channel soundtrack offers a pleasing listening experience of subtleties. The quiescent nature of the film dictates limited use of dimension, though the perception of depth for this soundtrack is rather wide and expansive. The surrounds are conservatively engaged, but effectively help in imparting the subtle spatial nuances. The dialogue is nicely produced with natural-sounding voices, a presence that is pleasing to the ears, and spatial integration that is noteworthy. The music has balance toward the screen but is nicely recorded. Deep bass is not a significant factor, as expected.
