DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a good gray scale with pleasing contrast. Blacks are just shy of true depth. Images can seem just slightly soft, but otherwise detail and definition are nicely rendered. Source element dirt and artifacts are minimal, and there are no major distractions for a picture that is quite solid and should surely please. (Suzanne Hodges)
