    Story Synopsis:
    Waking The Dead stars Billy Crudup as Fielding Pierce, a young man driven to make it in the fiercely competitive world of 1970s politics. When he meets Sarah Williams (Connelly), a social activist, he falls deeply in love with her and feels that together they can make a difference in the world.     DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits a picture that is quite often easy on the eyes. Images are sharp, with fine detail and definition. Colors are well balanced, sometimes with warm hues and other times with cold blues. Blacks are deep and solid. Some scenes are revealing of fine film grain and artifacts, while most of the picture is very smooth and solid. Edge enhancement is noticed on occasion, but pixelization is a rare occurrence.
