    Story Synopsis:
    Wanna have all the fun of a real rave without having to deal with that nasty morning-after depression of an Ecstacy hangover? Try Groove. A smart little film financed by Silicon Valley with actors hired by casting.com, Groove takes us through one Saturday night in San Francisco with rave regulars Colin (Kirkwood) and Harmony (Firgens) who talk his bookish brother David (Linklater) into attending. He experiences his first Esctacy high and meets transplanted New York raver Leyla (Glaudini). A cool movie with great music that gives a realistic account of what is probably going on at an abandoned warehouse near you. (Laurie Sevano)

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits pleasing imagery that is sharp, but slightly smeared. Colors are well balanced, with nicely rendered fleshtones and generally deep blacks. With the majority of the film set at night, shadow delineation is nicely rendered, though some scenes are a little dark. Some edge enhancement is noticed in the brighter scenes. Overall, the picture is generally smooth with few distractions. Source element artifacts are apparent, and some film grain is revealed. (Suzanne Hodges)
