Story Synopsis:
Rudyard Kipling
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD should be quite satisfying. Images are sharp and detailed, with nicely rendered fine definition and clarity. Colors are rich and warm, with vibrant reds and lush greens. Contrast and shadow delineation are nicely rendered. Unfortunately, this lovely picture is plagued, at times, with a digital appearance: edge enhancement is distracting, fine details and jungle backgrounds shimmer, and minor pixelization is detected.
