DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits images that are stylized for the various time frames that this movie is set in. While some scenes are softly focused and smeared for effect, others are quite natural with nicely rendered sharpness. Still, fine details are often wanting in dimension. Colors are well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Contrast and shadow delineation are nicely rendered. Minor pixelization is detected, but distractions like edge enhancement are minimal. (Suzanne Hodges)

DVD-ROM Review:
This title has some great features, especially for all you Highlander fans out there. From the main menu, there are links for a game called There Can Be Only One, a Timeline, a Script to Screen section, and a link to Play Movie. The game, There Can Be Only One, is a very long and difficult trivia game, asking questions about scenes from the movie Highlander: End Game. In the first round, you must answer some fairly simple trivia questions in a 12 second time limit. The second round, you must answer six more questions, but the catch is, each question can have more then one answer, or not have an answer at all. This round is the hardest of the three, and took me a very long time to finish. In the third round, you are given a question, with the answers shown one at a time every four seconds. If you don't click on the answer in time, you miss the question. After completing this game, you don't receive anything for your efforts, which really bummed me out. In the Timeline section, you can find a great timeline with major dates in time for all of the main characters in this film. Birth dates, death dates, and other important events are all chronicled by each character's name. The Script to Screen section is also well done, with the original shooting script on the right, as well as notes from the producers telling why parts of the script are so different from the actual scenes in the movie. This is a very nice treat that is only available for us DVD-ROM users. When playing the movie from the PCFriendly software, it loads directly to the opening credits, on to the beginning scene. Highlander: End Game's invigorating game, great appearance, and even better supplements are what boost its rating to the highest possible. (Danny Richelieu)
