DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD looks great for its age. Though dated, colors are well-balanced and fully saturated, with deep blacks and natural fleshtones. Images exhibit pleasing sharpness and detail, with nicely rendered contrast and shadow delineation. Some minor shimmering is noticed in the finer details, and pixelization is detected at times, but overall the picture is quite solid. Some minor edge enhancement is noticed throughout.
