DVD Picture:
The 1.66:1 DVD is not anamorphically enhanced, and exhibits a black-and-white picture that is quite crisp, despite appearing a bit rough and grimy at times. Blacks are deep and solid, and whites are generally bright, with good contrast. Edge enhancement is noticed throughout, as well as occasional pixelization. Minor film grain and occasional source element artifacts are apparent. (Suzanne Hodges)
