DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits a pleasing picture in all aspects of image quality. The picture is sharp and finely detailed, with excellent contrast and shadow delineation. The richly saturated, nicely balanced color scheme exhibits accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. There is virtually no edge enhancement, though when it is noticed, it is generally not distracting. Overall, the picture is easy-on-the-eyes and should surely please. (Suzanne Hodges)
