The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD looks quite good for its age, exhibiting sharp and detailed images. Colors are bold and bright, with nicely balanced fleshtones and deep blacks. Contrast and shadow delineation are pleasing throughout. The source element is generally clean, with occasional artifacts and minor film grain. However, there is nothing funny about it: edge enhancement can be very distracting. (Suzanne Hodges)
