DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits good image quality, despite a dated picture. At times the picture appears a bit washed out, while other times well balanced with good saturation. Fleshtones can be nicely rendered, though at times a bit unnatural. Images exhibit good sharpness and detail, with pleasing contrast, and satisfactory shadow delineation. The source element is revealing of few artifacts and minimal film grain. Overall, the picture should surely satisfy for its age. (Suzanne Hodges)
