DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits a black-and-white picture that is dated, yet nicely rendered. The gray scale is well balanced, with bright whites and generally deep blacks. Images exhibit good sharpness and detail throughout. There are infrequent occasions in which pixelization or minor shimmering details are noticed. Occasional source element artifacts are noticed.
