    Story Synopsis:
    An update of the 1968 charmer with the remarkable Sandy Dennis and Anthony Newley, this Sweet November is still based on Herman

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture is generally pleasing, with images that are sharp and detailed, though some minor smearing is evident. Colors are rich and well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. At times, fleshtones appear slightly orange. While the picture is mostly solid, occasional break up occurs due to shimmering details or pixelization. The appearance of edge enhancement occasionally distracts, but overall the picture is quite pleasing. (Suzanne Hodges)
