    Story Synopsis:
    The sixth episode of the seasonal slasher that started in 1978, Halloween: The Curse Of Michael Myers resurrects the always supposedly dead (from the last sequels) but unkillable and faceless masked Michael Myers, continuing his deadly evil rampage in a small Illinois community. Returning on Halloween night, six years after his presumed death, he takes vengeance on an unsuspecting family who live in his old house. Strange neighbor, Tommy Doyle (Rudd)

    DVD Picture:
    The 1.85:1 DVD is not anamorphically enhanced and exhibits a picture that can be generally pleasing at times. Images are sharp, but finer details and clarity are wanting. Colors are generally well balanced, with accurate fleshtones, though blacks tend to appear just shy of true depth. There is a bit of pixelization detected at times, as well as aliasing problems. The source is revealing of occasional artifacts and film grain. (Suzanne Hodges)

    Soundtrack:
    The Dolby Digital 2.0 matrix surround soundtrack is spatially active throughout and rather engaging as a result, though not quite to the level that is expected from a 5.1-channel production. Dynamic and frequency range are utilized to rather good effect, though a true discrete multichannel production would significantly enhance the already notable sonic virtues in this matrix soundtrack.
