    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 2.40:1 DVD exhibits a slightly soft picture, but one with generally pleasing detail. At times, the picture appears a bit hazy, with contrast seeming somewhat low (but this look is fairly consistent with some movies from the 80s). Colors are well balanced and naturally rendered, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Fine details shimmer slightly, but pixelization rarely threatens the image. (Suzanne Hodges)
