    Story Synopsis:
    Filmed on location in San Francisco, Dirty Harry is a riveting action thriller dedicated to the police officers

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture is improved over the previously released DVD. Images are sharper, with better detail and definition into backgrounds. Colors appear more fully saturated and balanced. Hues are rich and fleshtones appear accurately rendered. Blacks are deep and solid. The picture is generally solid and smooth, with little pixelization or edge enhancement to distract. Contrast and shadow delineation are also improved. The source element is revealing of some film grain and infrequent artifacts. (Suzanne Hodges)

    In addition to Widescreen Review, I subscribe to several audio/video publications, such as Sound And Vision, Stereophile, Stereophile Guide To Home Theater, Audio Video Interiors, and peruse through the myriad of British audio video publications when I go to Borders, Barnes & Nobles, or Tower Records. To stay on top of what’s happening in the audio/video industry, you read Widescreen Review. Enough said.
