The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits a nicely rendered picture, with images that are generally sharp and nicely detailed. Colors are well balanced, with accurate fleshtones, rich hues, and deep blacks. While visual information tends to get lost in the darkest scenes, shadow delineation and contrast should be satisfying. Overall, the picture is quite solid, with few distractions in the way of edge enhancement or pixelization. (Suzanne Hodges)
