    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 2.40:1 DVD exhibits a dated picture with soft and often undefined images. Colors are weak and undefined, with brownish blacks and pasty fleshtones. Contrast appears to be a bit low, and details tend to get lost in the darker scenes, which exhibit poor shadow delineation. Edge enhancement can be a problem, and there is also some pixelization to distract. Overall, this is an unimpressive visual experience for a DVD. (Suzanne Hodges)

    I started with the Ultimate Widescreen DVD Movie Guide and haven’t missed an issue since. I thought it would be nice to have a good resource for DVD reviews, but it’s turned into so much more. It’s to the point where if I don't see certain segments in the mag (new products, one installer, etc.), I feel a little disappointed. Please keep up the great work.
