DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a generally satisfying picture, with images that are sharp, though fine detail and definition are somewhat lacking. Contrast seems a bit low, and the darker scenes are wanting in more visual information. Colors appear well balanced, with rich hues and deep blacks, while fleshtones can appear a bit reddish at times. Pixelization distracts on a few occasions, and edge enhancement is minimal. Dirt and artifacts are noticed in the source element. (Suzanne Hodges)
