The 1.78:1 1080p AVC picture, photographed digitally with the Arri Alexa XT Plus camera system, exhibits a pristine appearance with excellent clarity and sharpness. The production is mostly centered in an open office setting with meticulous set design. The color palette is naturally hued throughout with strong, saturated hues contrasted with deep, solid blacks. Fleshtones are naturally hued. Contrast is excellent and generally bright throughout. Resolution is excellent, with the finest detail exhibited in clothing and object textures. Facial detail also is good, along with hair definition. This is a very pleasing presentation, set in Brooklyn, with a vivid color palette. (Gary Reber)
The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack is conventionally produced, with a focused frontal presence, in terms of dialogue and atmospherics. The office setting is embellished with all sorts of nuanced open-office sounds, including computer keyboards, iPhones, chatter by customer service workers, etc. Door slams and car sounds are realistic. The music score is lively throughout and provides the extent of surround envelopment. There are also interspersed some classic pop and jazz selections. This is a nicely pleasing sonic experience with a well-produced dialogue track that is effectively spatially
integrated. (Gary Reber)
