    In Eliminators, when his home in London is attacked, a former federal agent (Adkins) must come out of hiding in the Witness Protection Program to protect his daughter. With his true identity exposed to the criminal underworld, he goes on the run with Europe's most dangerous assassin on his trail and must use every trick he knows to keep his family alive.     The 1.78:1 1080p AVC picture is a digital production that exhibits excellent neutral balance, resolution, and fine detail throughout. The color palette is naturally hued, with excellent fleshtone accuracy and strong primaries that project vibrancy throughout. The cityscapes of London and surround urban atmospherics are perfectly natural and realistic. Contrast is well balanced with deep blacks and revealing shadow delineation. Detail, especially in close-ups of facial features, hair, clothing, and objects is excellent, Lighting atmospherics appear natural in design, This is a nicely, well-balanced digital production that exhibits a natural and pristine presence with impressive clarity that is sure to please.     The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack is nicely executed in terms of atmospheric and Foley effects. There is an almost-constant deep bass presence, often energized in the .1 LFE channel. Surrounds are mostly subtle, with sound effects, some dialogue effects, and music at times prominent. Gunfire and action sequences are effectively enhanced with sound effect energy, and at times are aggressively located in the surrounds. The music score is generally quite active in the background, or prominent, depending on the scene, and at times delivers a strong bass foundation and intense drumming. Dialogue is wanting in spatial integration and often is unnatural—too forward sounding. Other than the dialogue deficiency, this is a decent soundtrack that effectively is engaging. (Gary Reber)

    I primarily read WSR for unbiased information concerning the future of HD DVD. Articles are written in such a way that the average consumer can understand the technology and benefits of HD DVD. It's nice to be able to read articles from purist videophiles/audiophiles who clearly state their opinion on technologies/products with clear, understandable supporting information. When I read WSR, I have no doubt that the information within is complete and accurate. It's a publication I can TRUST!
