    In "Justice," it’s 1868 and the Civil War has been over for three years. An old, abandoned mine is now being transformed into a military stronghold by a corrupt mayor and a band of bloodthirsty outlaws hell-bent on reigniting the war. When a U.S. Marshall comes to town only to find out that his brother, the town priest, has been murdered, his search for the killer leads to an inevitable clash that becomes a life or death struggle for a much greater cause.     The 1.78:1 1080p AVC picture, reviewed on a Sony Bravia Z9D 4K Ultra HD HDR display, upconverted to 2160p with greater resolution and luminance, was photographed digitally. The imagery is crisp and finely detailed throughout. Lines and edges are impressively sharp. Clarity is excellent. The color palette is perfectly natural, with warm and rich earthy hues with solid saturation. Highlight colors pop, including richly hued blue skies. Fleshtones are naturally hued as well. Contrast is excellent as well with deep, solid blacks and revealing shadow delineation. As noted, resolution is impressive with fine detail revealed in facial features, skin pores, beards, hair, clothing, and object texture. This is an impressively vivid picture with excellent color fidelity contrast. (Gary Reber)

    The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack is well produced and natural sounding. Dialogue is prevalent and intelligible throughout, though, at times wanting in spatial integration. The orchestral score is rather constant throughout but as a background element. Fidelity is excellent throughout as well. Atmospherics are realistic as well as gunfire. Other sound effects, such as dynamite and gun power explosions, sound realistic as well. Deep bass sounds natural, though, sparse. This is a pleasing soundtrack. (Gary Reber)

    Reason #25 Why Readers Love Widescreen Review:

    I want to see product reviews of home theatre equipment that non-millionaires can afford to own. Reading articles about $50,000 home theatre setups is admittedly rather fun but, in practical terms, the info is really useless to me. While Darling Wife and I make a decent living, there's no way we can spend that kind of money on a home theatre. What I also really like and want to see: Practical advice articles that help people who are at least minimally technically competent to assess their needs and assemble a home theatre. That is, a periodic (yearly? twice yearly?) in-depth look at points to consider and equipment to buy to assemble a good high definition home theatre. Ideally, it would examine several total package price points. If you're willing to spend $10,000, here's what we recommend in terms of equipment and how to connect/install them. If your budget is smaller, here's what we recommend. If your budget is somewhat larger than $10,000, do this instead. Yes, I know you have your reference systems section each month, but an explanatory article would be nice, too. Finally, keep us up-to-date on the development of high definition DVDs and DVD players. This is what I'd like to see.
