The 1.78:1 1080p AVC picture, reviewed on a Sony Bravia Z9D 4K Ultra HD HDR display, upconverted to 2160p with greater resolution and luminance, was photographed digitally. The picture looks terrific, with a wonderfully saturated and natural color palette during the production sequence of current live action and CGI graphics, sans the news clips from other sources. Hues are rich and vibrant. Fleshtones are exacting. Contrast is excellent with deep blacks and revealing shadow delineation. Resolution also is excellent, with fine detail exhibited in facial features, skin pores, hair, clothing, and object texture. This is an impressively effective presentation that incredibly communicates the urgency to seriously address climate change. (Gary Reber)
The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack is dialogue focused with sonic intelligibility. Atmospherics are also effective. The music score carries through in support, though, mostly as a background sound element. At times deep bass is accentuated with .1 LFE energy. Surround energy is extended via the music score and at times atmospherics and sound effect, but also much of the presentation is restricted to stereo or monaural. Overall, the soundtrack does its job well to connect with the imagery. (Gary Reber)
