Picture quality is natural in appearance. Colors are realistic throughout with accurate fleshtones. Hues are natural throughout. Production design is set in real city locations, Contrast is realistic with deep blacks and revealing shadow delineation with natural bright lighting and effective spot lighting. Night scenes look great with the city lights. Resolution is excellent with fine detail exhibited throughout in facial features, clothing and object textures. This is a terrific-looking picture that is pleasing throughout. (Gary Reber)
The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 7.1-channel soundtrack is nicely enveloping with realistic atmospherics, such as city scenes, and sound effects, such as gunfire and vehicle crashes. Police sirens intensify chase scenes. Dynamics are natural and impactful. The orchestral score is effectively complementary and occupies a wide soundstage that extends to the four surrounds. Deep bass is an effective part of the music. Dialogue is intelligible but often ADR produced and wanting in spatial integration. This is a compelling soundtrack throughout. (Gary Reber)
