In "Catwoman: Hunted," Catwoman, a.k.a. Selina Kyle (Elizabeth Gillies), has no qualms about risking her nine lives when a prize like the world's most valuable emerald is the reward. But with Batwoman (Stephanie Beatriz) and Interpol maneuvering to spoil her fun, she must tread lightly. Complicating this game of cat and mouse are the global crime juggernaut Leviathan, deadly assassins, and a trail of twists and turns that may just trip up this nefarious feline. (Gary Reber)

The 1.78:1 2160p HEVC/H.265 Ultra HD HDR10 picture, reviewed on a Sony Bravia Z9D 4K Ultra HD HDR display, was animated and sourced from an upscaled 2K to 4K master Digital Intermediate format. The animation is simplistic in appearance an is comprised of nuanced textured renderings, gradations and sharp lines. The color palette is nicely saturated with vibrant hues that pop. Hues are for the most part shaded with blocks of colors that distinguish characters and objects. Nuances in hues enhance the sense of curvatures and angles. HDR contrast is excellent with solid and deep blacks and bright white levels. the imagery is sharp throughout. This is a nicely crafted animated feature. (Gary Reber)
The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1-channel soundtrack features a wonderful jazz and synthesizer score that is extremely well recorded. Bass in the jazz music is perfectly recorded and natural sounding. Other bass frequencies are deep and supportive. Of course, the focus is dialogue, which is ADR but always intelligible though forward sounding. Atmospherics are subtle but sound effects enhance the dynamic characteristics of the soundtrack, including gunfire, explosions, a high-speed car chase and other sound effects. Both the music and the sound effects extend to the surrounds and effectively enhance soundfield directionality. Foley sound effects track the action preciously. This is a well-crafted holosonic® soundtrack comprised of canned sound effects and ADR dialogue. (Gary Reber)
