The 2.39:1 1080p picture, reviewed on a VIZIO Quantum X P85QX-JI UHD/HDR display, was photographed digitally and sourced from a 2K master Digital Intermediate format. Picture quality is excellent. The imagery takes place during the night and the visuals, both outside and inside the security facility are s shadowy but revealing, Lighting is just enough to highlight figures and objects. The color palette exhibits natural hues, mostly in the range of grays and blacks. Flesh tones are perfectly natural and realistic within the dark production design settings. Contrast is realistic with deep black levels, excellent shadow delineation and realistic white levels. Resolution is revealing of fine detail throughout with good textural definition Facial features are nicely defined, clothing fabrics are realistic and object texture are well defined. This is a nicely crafted picture in challenging lighting conditions, and visually appreciative. (Gary Reber)
The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1-channel soundtrack is dynamic sounding with a terrific orchestral score that spans the soundfield with excellent surround envelopment. Atmospherics are excellent as well as the thunderous sound effects. Thunder is a powerful element. Foley sound effects are perfectly crafted. Surround envelopment is constantly aggressive, whether sourced from the music or the sound effects. Dialogue is generally well integrated spatially though there are segments of ADR. This is a well-crafted holosonic® soundtrack that is very satisfying. (Gary Reber)
