Fueled by an impoverished childhood, Foreman channels his anger into becoming the World Heavyweight Champion, followed by a near-death experience that takes him from the ring to the pulpit. But when he sees his community struggle, he reclaims his title, becoming the oldest and most improbable heavyweight boxing champion ever. (Gary Reber)

The 2.39:1 1080p picture, reviewed on a VIZIO Quantum X P85QX-JI UHD/HDR display, was photographed digitally using the Arri Alexa camera system and sourced from a 2K master Digital Intermediate format. Picture quality is excellent with a rich and warm color palette with hues that often pop such as a green sports jacket worn by Foreman after winning the world championship. The production design is realistic, whether in his early years living conditions or after his success on his mansionist property. Likewise, the settings in the Congo and everywhere else are perfectly realistic. Flesh tone hues are realistically natural. Contrast is excellent with natural black levels, revealing shadows and realistic white levels. Resolution is revealing of facial features such body sweat, skin pores, lines, bead stubble and hair. Clothing is well defined and objects appear realistic and nicely defined. This is a terrific boxing movie that will thrill fans of the sport. (Gary Reber
The DTS=HD Master Audio 5.1-channel soundtrack is nicely dynamic, especially during the fight sequences and the crowd reactions and chants. Each punch is supported with strong transient bass to enhance the impact. Other bass is extended to sub-25 Hz as a foundational support in some scenes. The orchestral score serves as a background element and delivers a wide and deep soundstage that extends to the surrounds for envelopment. Surround energy can at times be aggressive. Atmospherics are realistic and sound effects such as the intense punches can be felt. Dialogue at times is spatially integrated but also ADA produced and forward sounding. This is often a holosonic® stylized soundtrack and one that is often exciting. (Gary Reber)
