    In Hijacked, Special Agent Ross' (Couture) plans to reconcile with his ex-fiancé are ruined when she boards a private jet that is targeted by hijackers working for the same crime lord he is chasing. With no time to inform his team, Ross wriggles his way aboard the aircraft and risks it all to save the love of his life. (Gary Reber)

    The 1.78:1 1080p AVC picture, while a low-budget production, appears quite good, except for some of the stock footage used as transitions. The color palette is vividly rendered with warm and rich hues that are nicely saturated. Fleshtones are naturally toned throughout. Contrast is well balanced with deep blacks and delineated shadows. Resolution is revealing of nuanced detail, especially during close-ups of facial features, hair, clothing, and object texture. Overall, the imagery is pleasing to experience. (Gary Reber)

    The Dolby® TrueHD 5.1-channel soundtrack nicely supports the storytelling, with the music score providing surround envelopment and soundfield dimensionality. The recording quality is quite good, supported with natural sounding .1 LFE bass energy. Atmospherics and sound effects are effective, though, at times limited. Dialogue sounds natural and intelligible with generally good spatial integration. This is a serviceable soundtrack experience that builds the tension. (Gary Reber)
