    In Parental Guidance, old-school grandparents Artie (Crystal) and Diane (Midler) get more than they bargained for when they get stuck babysitting their type-A daughter's (Tomei) overprotected kids. But things go from hectic to hysterical when Artie realizes the kids are running the house with their newfangled technology. By playing on his own rules, which include sugary snacks, old fashioned games, and tough love, Artie manages to outsmart the kids and achieve the impossible—bring the family closer together!     Special features include commentary with Director Andy Fickman and Billy Crystal; 15 deleted scenes (HD 13:00); a gag reel (HD 12:48); FXM Productions Presents: In Character with Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, and Marisa Tomei with optional commentary by Fickman (HD 04:56); upfront previews; and an UltraViolet digital copy.

    The 1.85:1 1080p AVC picture looks terrific. Photographed digitally, the imagery is crisp and sharp with a strong, saturated color palette. Hues are rich and warm, yet vibrant. Fleshtones are naturally hued throughout. Contrast is well balanced with deep, solid blacks and nicely delineated shadows. Resolution is revealing of fine detail in facial features, hair, clothing, and object texture. Overall, this is a vibrantly colorful picture that is visually pleasing. (Gary Reber)

    The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack features an energetic, well-recorded music score with an enveloping surround presence. Atmospherics and sound effects are supportive, but the focus is on the dialogue, which is frontal focused and wanting in spatial integration. The .1 LFE is limited in effect and support. All in all this is a light sonic experience that is dialogue focused. (Gary Reber)

I also like the fact that you are not scared of technical articles, such as the video calibration article and the Digital Video Essential article, which goes into much depth and does not just skim the surface like many other publications seem to do.
