    It's been 20 years since the corporations took over the world's governments. Their thirst for power and profits led to the corporate wars, a fierce global battle that laid waste to society as we know it. They're ending the plague of corporate greed by exterminating the self-serving CEO and providing the survivors of the apocalypse with retribution. These are the new heroes.     The 2.40:1 1080p AVC picture was photographed digitally with the Red One camera system. Imaging quality is terrific, with a boldly saturated color palette with richly vibrant hues that pop. Fleshtones are healthily hued as well with a sunny disposition. Contrast is excellent, with deep and solid blacks and revealing shadow delineation. Resolution is well defined with excellent detail that reveals nuanced refinement. Clarity also is impressive, with a pristine appearance. The pictorial graphics overlay is an effective visual touch as well. Overall, this is an engaging visual experience that will please fans of The Road Warrior and Kill Bill genre. (Gary Reber)

    The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack is a holosonic® shoot-up blast, with aggressive soundfield envelopment and directionalized surrounds. Atmospherics and sound effects are fully energized, boosted with deep .1 LFE impact. Gunfire and explosives never sound exaggerated but carry a punch. The music score is active throughout. Fidelity is excellent, and the soundstage is wide and deep, with aggressive extension into the surrounds. Dialogue is a bit unnaturally integrated with ADR that at times is too forward sounding. Still, the overall sonic experience is dynamic, explosive, and intense. (Gary Reber)
