    Way Of The Wicked deals with a series of inexplicable murders that sweep a small, isolated community. Father Henry (Slater) goes to a local police detective (Jones) with a theory on why the murders are occurring. The two learn that a troubled teen with a dark past has recently moved to town and has set his sights on the cop's beautiful, young daughter. Father Henry, who turns out to have secrets of his own, finds himself pitted against a demonic force more diabolically evil and twisted than any of them could have imagined. (Gary Reber)

    The 1.85:1 1080p AVC picture was photographed digitally with the Red One camera system. The imagery is crisp, sharp, and detailed. The color palette is rendered in natural hues, with lush greens that enrich the British Columbia Pacific Northwest terrain. Fleshtones are perfectly natural. Contrast is balanced with good black levels and shadow delineation. The picture is often stylized, to impart a suspenseful effect. Overall, this is a pleasing picture with a strong, natural color palette. (Gary Reber)

    The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack delivers good fidelity and dynamics, with at times strong bass extension in the sub-25 Hz region. The sonics become more intense, to depict supernatural forces, with an aggressive surround presence. Atmospherics and sound effects are often effective in creating surround envelopment and in providing demonic suspense. The orchestral and choral music score is spread wide and deep across the soundstage with subtle surround presence. Dialogue is intelligible and decently integrated spatially. (Gary Reber)
