    Appearing at the Wilshire Theatre in Beverly Hills, California, Chris Botti performs Live With a full Orchestra, his band, And many Special Guests. It was obvious from the minute he stepped onstage that the sold-out crowd was in for a special treat, and now, with the concert available in Blu-ray Disc, so are you. (Tricia Spears)

    Special features include a 30-minute Behind The Scenes: Chris Botti Live featurette; a 10-minute featurette on The Musicians; a 19-minute interview with Botti; and the "Message In A Bottle" performance featuring Sting, with an optional Botti and Sting introduction.

    The Blu-ray Disc shows well-resolved details throughout the presentation on close shots, but longer shots can look too digital, as some shimmering and stair-stepping on edges can also be recognized. Blacks aren't as deep as in the best releases. Flesh can occasionally look pasty and plugged up. (Danny Richelieu)

    The 96 kHz, 24-bit linear PCM soundtrack provides fantastic dynamic range and the mix is done well, giving instruments distinct positioning in the room. The upper end of the frequency spectrum is a little dry, making cymbals sound tinny. (Danny Richelieu)
