WSR Narrative Review |
|
Story Synopsis:
A comedy that asks: “What happens when the school records of a brainiac dweeb (the Kid) and a got-attitude steet tough (master Play) get accidentally switched?” The answer: an outrageous and hilarious “Class Act.” This is a really fun comedy that is extremely well produced and photographed; a sleeoer when released theatrically.
LaserDisc Picture:
The digital transfer and pressing by WEA is among the best you will find. The aspect ratio is on the mark at 1.85:1. The images are vibrant, crisp, sharp and focused. Color balance is excellent. There is not a trace of any noise or negative dust artifact on any frame of this disc.
LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The Dolby Surround® soundtrack is up tempo and aggressive with excellent motion panning to complement the on and off-screen action. The sound, however, lacks the extended bass response that the music and effects deserve.
