WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
The picture is presented correctly at 2.35:1. It looks marvelous with exemplary shadow detail, excellent contrast and color fidelity, and accurate flesh tones. Some slight grain is apparent in the darkest scenes but overall the picture quality is outstanding with no glaring artifacts.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The stereo soundtrack has a dynamic music score by James Horner and an effective surround envelopment provided by the music and spatial effects. Otherwise most scenes are mono with those in stereo well defined.
